L’originalité du Pôle Recherche et Enseignement universitaire SPES – Soins Palliatifs En Société ; éthique et pratique clinique – réside dans la constitution d’une équipe interdisciplinaire alliant des compétences en médecine, psychologie, sociologie, santé publique, philosophie et éthique.

Ses publications illustrent aujourd’hui le fait que le Pôle Recherche et Enseignement Universitaire est devenu en 5 ans un acteur reconnu de la médecine palliative française.
